Terra Cotta Warriors of the Emperor Qn Shihung Lng
My intent of the work is to challenge how we look at history, i.e. without color or humor.
The original terra cotta figures were part of Emperor Qin Shihuang mausoleum. There were approximately 130 chariots with 670 horses and 8000
life sized portraits ofindividual warriors. It would take over 500 years for the fastest sculptor today to
accomplish this task. As it turns out they had to conscript everyone who even remotely had any artistic talent. Thus forming a brigade of sculptors. One thing I know is
that Artistic types havent changed in the last two millennia so I suspect that the sculptors brigade probably looked and acted something like this.
